August Stampin' Updates

Hi Ladies,

Boy the summer is sure getting away from us quickly! It's already August. I don't know where the time goes! August brings a great designer paper special from Stampin' Up. When you buy three packs of designer paper, you get one free. It is also the last month for the Summer Mini Catalog, so if there are items you want, but haven't ordered yet, now is the time.

Here are the details for August workshops:

Tuesday, August 16th from 3:45 - 8:00 PM - Regular Card Workshop, 6 Cards for $10. We will be making six cards using the Fabulous Florets set from the Summer Mini Catalog. When I looked through the Summer Mini and saw this set, I didn't think I needed another flower set of stamps. But as I saw more and more cards made with this set, I decided I had to have it. And boy, can you make some beautiful cards with it! We'll also be using the new striped embossing folder and Petite Pairs Stamp set from the new Idea Book & Catalog. We are going to be heat embossing, sanding, rock and rolling, etc. Lots of fun!! I will be offering 10% off any items from the Summer Mini Catalog at this workshop. And as always, spend $35 and your cards are free. The last day to RSVP for this workshop is Thursday, August 11th.

Wednesday, August 31st from 3:45 - 8:00 PM - Big Shot Class - 4 Projects for $10. We will be making four adorable projects using the Matchbox Die. You can use these cute little boxes for candy, jewelry, etc, basically anything you can think to put in them. The pictures on my blog show samples, but I will have multiple colors and designer papers to choose from. Buy the Matchbox Die or any other Big Shot items at 10% off at this workshop! Spend $35 and your Big Shot projects are free! The last day to RSVP for this workshop is Thursday, August 25th.

Hi Ladies,

I've finally gotten some time to play.  I wasn't sure it was ever going to happen, but I spent several hours this weekend working on some really cute cards for you!  I have three workshops scheduled for July, Tuesday, July 5th, Tuesday, July 12th, and Tuesday, July 26th..  July 5th will be a New Catalog Kickoff Workshop! May Workshop Info

I FINALLY have my ball schedule and can plan the rest of my life......well, sort of. It looks mighty hairy for sure! I'm sorry to have to change my workshops to Thursdays this month. I know that may cause problems for some of you, but if you are unable to attend a workshop, and are interested in a kit, please let me know by the RSVP deadline. Thursday, May 12th - 3:45-8:00 PM - Regular Card Workshop - 6 Cards for $10.


At this workshop, we will be using NEW products from the Summer Mini Catalog. We'll be focusing on the new Flower Garden Embossing Folder, using lots of neat techniques to make the image pop! We'll also be using the Sunny Fun stamp set to get us ready for summer. We'll be glittering, coloring, using the blender pens, etc for these bright, fun cards! Spend $35 and get your cards for FREE! Saturday, May 21st - Bad Axe Free Methodist Church - 9 AM - 4 PM - FREE Scrapbooking!! I will be at the Free Methodist Church with a cute free project for you, along with some great technique demos. These new stamp sets have got me "techniquing" again. So many cool things to do with them!!! I will have lots of new samples to show using great new products from the Summer Mini Catalog too.You can spend the entire day at the church working on your projects for FREE. All you have to do is bring a dish to pass for lunch as we all share and eat together! No RSVP is needed.


Thursday, May 26th - 3:45 - 6:00 PM - Card Purse Workshop - Card Purse with 4 Cards for $10. You have been asking me for some time to make the cute card purses on my display table at a workshop. Well, we're finally going to do it. We'll be making 4 cards using the new Flower Fest stamp set. This new set is wonderful because it coordinates with a lot of our punches! That means almost no cutting involved - just punch away! I have attached two pics of the cards, along with a pic of one of the purses I've made. Are you ready for spring?  I certainly am!  This last snow storm gave me the blues.  My front yard was greening up in that nice weather.  The snow was gone all around me.  I had high hopes of spring in the air....and then the snow hit again.  Looks like this weekend is going to be in the 40's, so maybe that white stuff will disappear again!  Stampin' Up is offering an exciting sneak peek special for April!  If you spend $20, you can order a brand new Four Frames stamp set or new Paisley Petals designer paper from the new Idea Book and Catalog that comes out in July!  Host a workshop with sales of $350 or more and receive the stamp set AND designer paper for FREE!!  Click on the link on the top right of this page to see both the stamp set and designer paper.

Tuesday, April 5th - Final Occasions Mini Workshop - 3:45 to 8:00 PM - 12 Cards (2 of each design) for $20.  - This is the final workshop from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  We'll be using the Easter Blossoms stamp set, the Take a Spin Stamp Set and Spinner Hands, the Bring on the Cake Stamp Set, A Slice of Life Hostess Stamp Set, and the Pompom trim.  We'll also be playing with a few different techniques....masking, heat embossing, sponging, etc.  Spend $20 at this workshop and you are able to purchase those sneak peek items! Spend  $50 at this workshop and receive any item from the catalog up to $5 FREE!  Spend $75 and get your cards free too!  The RSVP deadline for this workshop is Friday, April 1st.

Wednesday, April 6th - 6 x 6 Scrapbook Spread - 3:45-8:00 PM - 2 Pages for $5.  At this workshop, we'll be focusing on the brights of spring!  We'll make some adorable flowers using punches and we'll also be putting some of the Sale-a-bration ribbon and buttons to good use.  See below for pics.    Spend $20 at this workshop and you can purchase the sneak peek items.  Spend $35 at this workshop and your pages are free!  RSVP deadline for this workshop is also Friday, April 1st.  

 Tuesday, April 19th - Regular Card Workshop - 3:45 - 8:00 PM - 6 Cards for $10.  At this workshop, we are going to make some very creative cards.  We'll be using lots of punches, chalk, sanding blocks, etc. The samples attached are all Mother's Day cards, but you will have the option to make all-occasion cards also.  I will have two samples of each card on the table, one as a Mother's Day card, one as a birthday or thank you, etc.  You can then choose to make whichever is better for you.  Spend $20 at this workshop and you can purchase the sneak peek items.  Spend $35 at this workshop and your cards are free!  RSVP deadline for this workshop is Thursday, April 14th.

March Workshops

I hope this post finds all of you well and happy.  March is here and it's still cold........so much for that wonderful warm-up in February.  I enjoyed it while it lasted though.  We are in Michigan and it is only the beginning of March, so I'll suck it up!   Check out my activities for March:

Wednesday, March 2nd - Sale-a-bration Stamp a Stack from 3:45 - 8:00 PM.  Come and go as you need to.  At this workshop, we will be making 12 cards (2 each of 6 designs) using many of the FREE Sale-a-bration products.  Cost for this workshop is $20.  Please see the pics below for details.   Spend $50 at this workshop and get any accessory from the Occasions Mini (up to $5) FREE PLUS choose a free item from the Sale-a-bration catalog!  Spend $100 and get your cards for free, plus a free accessory, plus 2 free Sale-a-bration items.  How great is that?!?!   RSVP Deadline for this workshop is Thursday, February 24th. 

Tuesday, March 15th - Regular Card Workshop from 3:45 -8:00 PM.  Come and go as you need to.  We will be getting our Easter cards done early.  At this workshop, we'll be making 6 adorable Easter cards.  See attached for pics of these cards.  Cost for this workshop is $10.  RSVP Deadline for this workshop is Thursday, March 10th.  

Tuesday, March 29th - Big Shot Class from 3:45 - 8:00 PM.  Come and go as you need to.  I'm sorry that my pic of these projects is not very clear.  It seems like no matter where or what angle I take the picture of the grouping, I get a glare in the image.  We'll be making a really cute baby bib card, a 3 x 3 gift box with 4 cards, a mini gift bag, and a treat holder.  The cost of this workshop is $10.  RSVP deadline for this workshop is Friday, March 18th.
