September Card 1

Here is the first card we'll be making on Tuesday, September 22nd. I'm trying something a little different this month. The class will be open from 3:45 - 8 PM, so you can come at any time in that window to make your cards. As always, it's 4 cards for $5. No additional purchase is required. I am offering a couple of specials for September. These cards highlight the "Flight of the Butterfly" Stamp Set. When you purchase this set for $31.95, you can purchase the new Butterfly Punch for only $10. That's a savings of $5.95. September Card 4

Here is the fourth card we'll be making. You can't tell in the picture, but the butterfly is stamped on the pink cardstock and then stamped again on vellum cardstock, so it looks as if it's fluttering. Here are the details.....

September Dates

Hi Everyone,

I don't know where this month has gone. I last posted on August 9th! Good grief......I have to do some changing to my class schedule this month. Instead of the first and third Tuesdays of the month, I have to change to the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. That means we'll be doing two scrapbook pages for $5 on Tuesday, September 8th and 4 cards for $5 on Tuesday, September 22nd. And just to make it more convenient, the classes will run from 3:45 PM to 8 PM. You can stop in and make your projects anytime between 3:45 and 8 PM. Generally, it takes about 60-90 minutes to complete the projects, depending on how much time we spend visiting! LOL.

Anyway, the scrap pages are posted above for September 8th. As I said, the class will run from 3:45 - 8 PM. Making the pages will take 60-90 minutes, depending.....Come in when you can sneak away. RSVP dealine for the Tuesday, September 8th Scrap Class is Friday, September 4th. The focus in on "Fall". As much as I hate to admit it, we are heading there very quickly! Been Busy....

Hi Everyone,

The last week has been a bit stressful, so I've been de-stressing at night by making a couple of cards at a time. See the posts below for samples from a few new Stampin' Up stamp sets. On Tuesday, August 18th, we'll be making the bottom cards from all three sample sets, along with a card posted some time ago using the new in colors and the Kind and Caring Thoughts Hostess stamp set. We'll be using a few different techniques.....Baby Wipe, Stampin' Pastels, Two Step and Shadow Stamping, along with creating a 3D type image. Lots to learn...lots of fun!

The last day to RSVP for the Tuesday, August 18th sessions (at 4 PM or 6:30 PM) is Thursday, August 13th. I also have some space available in my Friday night strip class on Friday August 14th. If you didn't RSVP yet and are interested in coming, just let me know if you'd like to make the scrap pages, cards or both. And if you aren't able to attend, but would like kits to make on your own, don't be afraid to ask.
